Robin Bennett, CPA — Robin specializes in tax planning and compliance for closely held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, estates, and trusts, and is based in the firm’s Sanford, NC office. Robin is both a mentor and a leader within the firm, guiding initiatives that enhance client service, expand specialized practice areas, and strengthen community engagement. She works across multiple industries, including agriculture, manufacturing, retail, and professional services, bringing deep expertise and a client-focused approach to every engagement.
Robin is a graduate of the University of North Carolina – Wilmington, holding both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Accountancy, and is a graduate of Leadership North Carolina.
Eric Smith — Based in the DMJPS Concord, NC office, Eric leads the firm’s Education Services, Charter Schools niche, bringing more than 20 years of experience serving nonprofit, government, construction, and family-owned business clients. He frequently speaks on financial topics impacting the charter school industry and applies his deep expertise to client accounting, audits, reviews, and a wide range of attestation services. Dedicated to clients and his community, Eric is known for building strong relationships and providing practical guidance that helps organizations thrive.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S. in Accounting, Eric has served on several local nonprofit boards and also finds time to coach his children’s sports teams, reflecting his commitment to service both inside and outside the firm.
Samantha Suozzi, CPA — Leading the DMJPS Wilmington, NC office, Samantha focuses on tax services for industries including retail, professional services, and real estate. She is certified in QuickBooks Desktop and Online and is recognized for her ability to support clients with business accounting and advisory needs.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina – Wilmington (B.S., Criminal Justice; M.S., Accounting), Samantha has a unique background in law enforcement and community service, reflecting her commitment to leadership inside and outside the profession. She is also a graduate of Leadership Wilmington.
