Sierra Puryear, CPA

Sierra Puryear is a Senior Associate at DMJPS CPAs + Advisors in Tax Services. Within the firm, Sierra’s focus lies in preparing various types of tax returns, including those for individuals, businesses (S Corp, partnership, C Corp), and nonprofit organizations. Additionally, she provides valuable assistance by performing quarterly tax planning for select clients.

Sierra’s journey into accounting began unexpectedly during her undergraduate studies at NC State University when she enrolled in an accounting class to fulfill a requirement. However, that serendipitous decision turned into a true passion for her.

Having grown up in Knightdale, NC, and spending her whole life in the Triangle area, Sierra works from the DMJPS Durham office. Outside of her professional life, she finds joy in reading, attending concerts, and enthusiastically supporting any NC State sports team – go Wolfpack! Eager to explore the world, Sierra has set her sights on visiting all 50 states and traveling as much as possible.
