Megan O'Brien,

Megan O’Brien is an Associate at DMJPS CPAs + Advisors in the Tax Services. She focuses on preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, serving clients across a wide range of industries.

Megan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications from Elon University and her Master of Accounting from NC State University. While at Elon, her work in the Global Education Center introduced her to budgeting and financial processes—an experience that sparked her interest in the accounting field. She values the structure and problem-solving nature of tax work and strives to support clients by helping reduce the stress often associated with tax compliance.

Originally from North Shore, Massachusetts, Megan is based in the firm’s Durham office. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga and pursuing her love of music—attending concerts, creating playlists, and playing both the ukulele and guitar.
