Chad Rothlin,

Chad Rothlin is a Senior Associate at DMJPS CPAs + Advisors in Tax Services. He focuses on preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and gifts, and brings experience across a wide range of industries, including charter schools, government, nonprofit, and construction.

Chad brings a unique blend of experience and dedication to his role, with a strong foundation in both education and finance. He holds an associate’s degree in accounting and finance and a bachelor’s degree in special education. Before entering the accounting profession, Chad spent nine years as a special education teacher, where he developed a passion for problem-solving and helping others succeed. His love for math and interest in financial strategy naturally led him to a career in accounting, where he now enjoys supporting individuals and businesses in managing and understanding their finances.

Chad is active in the community as a member of the Kannapolis Rotary Club and regularly volunteers with organizations across Cabarrus County.

Originally from Hickory, North Carolina, Chad is based in the firm’s Concord office. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and two children—fun fact: his highest bowling score is an impressive 268.
