Christopher Burch, CPA, JD

Chris Burch is a Supervisor at DMJPS CPAs + Advisors in Tax Services. He works with individuals, partnerships, and corporations to provide comprehensive tax planning, projections, and compliance services. Chris has particular expertise in managing IRS and state tax correspondence and supports clients across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, consulting, and restaurants, primarily serving privately owned and closely held businesses.

Chris brings a unique background to the accounting profession. He began his career in the U.S. Army and later transitioned into public accounting, earning a Master of Accountancy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He also holds a Juris Doctor from Indiana University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Purdue University.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Chris is based in the firm’s Mooresville office. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his Newfoundland and cheering on the St. Louis Blues.
