Meet Drew

Bio

Drew Haddock is a Partner and Co-CEO at DMJPS CPAs + Advisors, based in the firm’s Sanford office. With nearly 15 years of experience in public accounting, Drew brings extensive expertise in tax planning and compliance, working closely with corporations, partnerships, and individuals—particularly closely held businesses in the dealership, manufacturing, distribution, and real estate industries. He also has deep knowledge of multi-state tax compliance and regularly advises clients on complex transactions, including Section 1031 like-kind exchanges, opportunity zone incentives, and mergers and acquisitions.

Drew holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science in Accounting from East Carolina University. Prior to joining DMJPS, he served as a tax manager at a large regional accounting firm in Raleigh, NC.

Drew is actively involved in both professional and community leadership. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Sanford Area Growth Alliance, where he helps guide the organization’s financial strategy in support of regional economic development. He also serves on the East Carolina University College of Business Advisory Council, contributing to the advancement of business education at his alma mater.

Drew lives in Apex, NC, with his wife, two sons, and daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, attending sporting events (Go Pirates, Wolfpack, and Panthers!), and traveling with his family. He is also an active member of The Summit Church in Apex.
