Eric Smith,

Eric Smith is a Senior Manager at DMJPS CPAs + Advisors in Assurance Services. With more than 20 years of experience, Eric leads audits, reviews, and various attestation engagements across a range of industries, including nonprofits, governmental entities, construction contractors, and family-owned businesses. He also has extensive experience supporting charter schools with their unique audit requirements.

Eric earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Committed to community involvement, he serves as Treasurer for the West Cabarrus Branch YMCA and has held positions on several local nonprofit boards.

Originally from Lenoir, NC, Eric is based in the firm’s Concord office. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children, coaching his kids’ sports teams, and cheering on the Carolina Panthers.
