Jennifer Caldwell-Billstrom, CPA

Jennifer Billstrom, CPA is a Fractional CFO in Client Accounting & Advisory Services at DMJPS CPAs + Advisors. In her role as a Fractional CFO, she supports and advises clients in performing essential financial analysis through a variety of accounting and advisory services. Jennifer is an expert user of Excel and enjoys using Power Query and Power BI to facilitate data analysis.

Jennifer has more than 20 years of experience. Her career began in the KPMG Roanoke, Virginia office providing audit and tax services to clients. She previously served as Corporate Controller performing SEC reporting and financial statement consolidation for manufacturing clients. In the past, Jennifer provided such services as supply chain management, production planning, and fulfillment prediction to her clients. She is experienced in creating, and refining workflows that supports business performance and forecasts.

In 2011, Jennifer founded Velo Girl Rides LLC, a start-up company which allowed her to develop skills in marketing and sales. She served as the Systems Manager for Kitsbow Apparel and helped facilitate a major relocation and expansion, through the pandemic, and into the 2022 inflationary period. She serves on the board of Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina and Friends of the Fonta Flora State Trail. In 2021-2022, she represented Buncombe County NC residents through service on the 2043 Buncombe County Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee and the Better With Bonds Buncombe Votes Yes general bond referendum campaign.

A natural leader who is happiest when surrounded by nature, Jennifer enjoys cycling, running, and hiking in the Blue Ridge mountains and beyond. She lives in Black Mountain NC with her husband, David.
