Peggy Cornejo is a Client Accounting Specialist at DMJPS CPAs + Advisors. With more than 20 years of experience, she is highly skilled in bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, business property tax listings, and the preparation of both individual and corporate tax returns. Peggy works across a wide range of industries, providing tailored financial support that includes maintaining general ledgers, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing accurate financial statements.

Peggy earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidad Católica in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and an associate’s degree in accounting from Hudson County Community College. Fluent in Spanish, she enjoys working closely with clients and takes pride in helping them navigate their financial needs with clarity and confidence.

Passionate about numbers and problem-solving, Peggy attributes her strong work ethic and determination to her father, whom she considers her greatest mentor. She loves to travel and is inspired by Maya Angelou’s words: “No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.”
