DMJPS “Be Greater” Scholarship Invests in the Future of the Accounting Profession
DMJPS CPAs + Advisors launched the “Be Greater Scholarship” as part of the firm’s commitment to investing in the future of the accounting profession. Through this initiative, DMJPS committed $75,000 over five years to support students from colleges and universities across North Carolina. Available to DMJPS interns who successfully complete their busy season internships, the scholarship reflects the firm’s dedication to developing future leaders in the profession.
The Be Greater Scholarship continues to support the next generation of accounting professionals while reinforcing DMJPS’ future-focused mission. More than a scholarship program, it represents an investment in the individuals who will shape the future of the profession and embodies the firm’s commitment to “Be Greater.”

The accounting profession faces a critical need for fresh talent, with a significant portion of the current workforce approaching retirement. By 2030, it is estimated that the demand for accounting professionals will have grown by 10% (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). Attracting students into the profession is essential for maintaining the vitality and future of the industry. The Be Greater Scholarship aligns with the DMJPS mission to see a bright future for all by nurturing the next generation of accountants.

Scholarship Details
The first scholarship class will be open to all DMJPS interns when the application launches in January 2025. The Be Greater Scholarship will be available to DMJPS interns who successfully complete their busy season internships.
